Nostalgic?

not really. so happy it's summer holidays! time to zone out and just chiiiiilll, be the laziest person vienna has ever known. so nice not to have to think about anything...take a BREAK, eat a kit kat. mmmm :) will be posting thrrroughout summer :)

Toi-Toi

South Africa return to play Uruguay tonight. Cannnnoooottt wait! Packing out the Vuvuzela's and the Biltong to get into the mood. Gotta do the Toi-Toi dance as well; just a mess around dance that originated in the black provinces and it's said to bring luck to BAFANA BAFANA.

Bafana Bafana

World Cup started today. At first I was totally sceptical but after watching South Africa's first game I'm so stoked to watch them play some more! We even packed out our Vuvuzela's (those things that make the noise) and flags to show our patriotism :) Loving their dance too:

Ahhhh hopefully Bafana Bafana can make it through....after all they did draw their first game, with a magnificent goal by man of the match: Tschabalala!

I see the light!

1 exam left. It's been a long road, full of 7 other exams but I'm almost there. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it looks amazing. Swimming tomorrow with the girls to celebrate the lovely completion of the year :D yay. And then off into the wonderful world of softball, for the whole weekend, I can only say: BRING IT!

Samuel Beckett: 1906-1989
This guy is such an inspiration, granted he has an extremely pessimistic outlook on life, he brings forth an aspect that is unexpected and enthralling. I drew 2 portraits of him, both done in charcoal but I don't have a photo of the other one. He was definitely one of the most interesting people I have researched about as well as drawn throughout this year in art.

This has probably been the most boring week of my life...ever. Exams next week means everyone is studying, and crap weather means no one wants to go outside. I've become so sad that I now have a formspring...haha, it's becoming the new facebook :P aaahh I suppose I should get back to study...procrastinating :)
